Chorizo

We bought some uncooked Chorizo at the store. The first two ingredients on the list:
  • pork lymph nodes
  • pork salivary glands
We threw it away before we had a chance to take a picture of the label.

That doesn't sound that bad :) It's no worse than the Romanian "piftie", made (traditionally) from hooves or "tobă", made from the tail, ears and other parts.

I'm not a chorizo connaisseur, but maybe lymph glands are traditional :)

If you think of all the things people put in traditional romanian food... Chorizo doesn't sound that bad. Think of it as a way to maximize resources!
